This pot is made from stoneware, an extremely durable form of ceramic that is fired to thousand-degree temperatures. Stoneware pots are less absorbent than traditional earthenware pots, but much more durable and resistant to temperature changes. This pot has three drainage holes and an unglazed interior to help prevent moisture buildup. Drip tray is glazed inside to protect it from moisture.
Bare (unglazed) and matte areas on the exterior of the pot have been sealed with Liquid Quartz, making them waterproof and more resistant to stains and microbes.
