* SECOND: this item is being sold at a discounted price because it warped in the kiln. The bottom was sanded to reduce the amount of wobble, which reveals lighter clay underneath, and unfortunately it still has some wobble to it. please see photos 

This pottery is made from stoneware, a durable form of ceramic fired to more than 2000°F. It’s microwaveable, lead-free, and dishwasher-safe; however, washing by hand is always recommended.

Bare (unglazed) and matte areas have been sealed with Liquid Quartz, making them waterproof and more resistant to stains and microbes.
